Your dome
A king bed, hand-carved headboard and woven wall art, wrapped in warm light and mountain quiet.
Boutique riverside dome glamping with great views of Mount Meru, where the comfort of a fine hotel meets the wild, open edge of the Tanzanian bush.
Nekoli is a small, design-led glamping retreat tucked along the Usa River, in the wide country below Mount Meru. A strip of gallery forest follows the water, tall fig trees alive with colobus monkeys, silver-cheeked hornbills and a chorus of forest birds. Each transparent-faced dome frames the mountain, the canopy and the wide Tanzanian sky, so the landscape becomes the room you sleep in.
Inside, it is pure comfort: a proper bed dressed in crisp linen, warm timber, handwoven East-African craft, soft lamplight and a private rainfall ensuite.
Spacious, serene and quietly luxurious — designed for slow mornings, long sunsets and the kind of night sky you forget exists.
A king bed, hand-carved headboard and woven wall art, wrapped in warm light and mountain quiet.
A private stone-and-teak bathroom with a full rainfall shower — no shared facilities, ever.
Carved lamps, brass vessels and East-African textiles — every object chosen, not catalogued.

Dinner here is part of the journey. We have curated a weekly menu with surprise entries every week. Fusion is the signature: Tanzanian dishes lifted with a fine-dining hand, continental favourites quietly localised with what comes in from the market and our own garden.
A craving, an allergy, a celebration? Special requests are always welcome. And every stay opens with a generous breakfast, on the house.
Our aim is simple — a five-star table, served under the Meru sky.
