Nekoli Glamping respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, the cookies we use, and the choices you have — in plain language.
The short version: our website sets no tracking cookies unless you accept them. We load analytics (the Meta Pixel) only after you click Accept on the cookie banner, and you can change your mind anytime via Cookie settings in the footer. We never sell your data.
Who we are

Information we collect
- When you contact us — if you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share (such as your name, contact details and your message), so we can reply and arrange your stay.
- With your consent, usage data — if you accept analytics cookies, the Meta Pixel collects standard information such as your device, browser, approximate location (from your IP address) and how you interact with the site.
- What we don't collect here — this site has no booking form or guest accounts. Reservations and payments happen on Booking.com or Airbnb under their own systems and policies.
Cookies & analytics
We keep cookies to a minimum:
- Your consent choice is saved in your browser's local storage (key
nekoli-consent). It stays on your device and is not sent to us. - Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms) loads only after you accept. It records a page view and, if you click through to book, a “Lead” event, so we can measure and improve our advertising. If you decline — or later withdraw — the pixel is told to stop sending further events.
You can withdraw or change consent at any time using the Cookie settings link in the site footer. Withdrawal stops future tracking; it cannot recall events already sent.
Embedded third-party content
Some parts of the site load content from other companies, which means your browser contacts them directly:
- Google Maps — our Location section embeds a Google map. When it loads, Google may receive your IP address and set its own cookies.
- Google Fonts — typefaces are served by Google, so your browser requests them from Google's servers.
Booking partners
Our “Book” buttons take you to Booking.com and Airbnb. Once you leave our site, their privacy policies apply to anything you do there. We don't control those platforms.
How your data is shared
We do not sell your personal data. It is only shared with the service providers above (Meta and Google, where you've allowed it) and with our booking partners when you choose to book. Some of these providers process data outside Tanzania, including in the EU and the United States.
Keeping & protecting your data
We keep enquiry messages only as long as needed to respond and look after your stay, then delete them. We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Just email jambo@nekoliglamping.com and we'll help.
Children
This website is intended for adults planning a stay and is not directed at children under 18.

We may update this page from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
